| පෙබ 3 | 2008 ඊළග වසරේ පැවැත්වීමට සූදානම් කර ඇති 8 වන ICCAP ප්රජා සංසදය ගැන සැලසුම් කිරීමට එහි කමිටු රැස්වීමට WSG නියෝජිතයින් සහභාගී වුණා. සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත කටයුතුවල විෂය පථය සම්බන්ධයෙන් එකඟතාවයකට පැමිණුන අතර, අනෙකුත් බිම් මට්ටමේ සංවිධාන සමඟ වැඩ කිරීම සඳහා උපාය මාර්ග ගැන අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම ද මෙහි දී සිදු වුනා. |
| පෙබ 22 | විවිධ කරුණු නිසා පල කිරීම ප්රමාද වූ සංවේදීනි පුවත් ලිපියේ 2005 දෙසැම්බර් කලාපය නිකුත් කෙරුනු අතර, ම්රද්රිත පිටපත් දේශීය සහ විදේශීය ආයතනවලට සහ ක්රියාකාරීන්ට තැපැල් කළා. |

| January 21 | A sexual health workshop was held in Puttalam. Various topics were discussed, including women’s sexuality, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual minorities, and people marginalized by society. click here to read more. |
| February 1 | WSG participated in the daily protests organized by Women and Media Collective on behalf of the “Sri Lankan Women for Peace and Democracy Alliance” throughout the ‘Month of Peace’. The first in this series of protests took place on February 1st from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm.click here to read more. |
| February 3 | WSG representatives attended the committee meeting to plan for the 8th ICCAP Community Forum, which is scheduled to be held in 2008. An agreement was reached on the scope of work to be carried out, and ideas were also presented on strategies for working with other grassroots organizations. |
| February 22 | The December 2005 issue of the ‘Sanvedini’ newsletter, which was delayed due to various reasons, was released, and hard copies were mailed to local and international organizations and activists. |

| June 28 | Since the proceeds from the first party were not enough to participate in the 2006 Gay Games, another party called ‘Pride & Spirit’ was organized to celebrate Pride Month. |
