Lesbian confab in Colombo?
I was skimming over the front page of The Weekend Express of 31/07-01/08, when my attention was drawn to its “Exclusive” scoop, and according to which, the first ever National Lesbian Conference is scheduled to be held in Colombo in December this year.
I sat bolt upright through shock and wondered whether my eyes were deceiving the. You see, at my age my eyesight is not quite 6/6, but satisfactory even without glasses. Anyway I re-read the article just to be sure, and guess what, I was bothered and bewildered. This conference appears to be a certainty, as the information has come right from the horse’s mouth. Or, shall I say, from the mare’s mouth, because it is one Miss Kumari, the apparent organizer of this movement, who has given the low-down on the said convention, to the press.
Lesbianism in my opinion is a despicable,irreligious and profane crime against nature and all things undefiled, and hence, perpetrators of this cursed cult do not deserve to be tolerated in decent society. They are social outcasts, and should be treated as such.
And, if this convention is held as planned, Colombo too will qualify for inclusion in the list of permissive, notorious and decadent cities like Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen among many others. I appeal to the leaders of all the religious denominations in this country to form an united front and do their utmost to prevent this macabre meeting taking place. The Police too can chip in with some very effective assistance. I will explain how. We know that nowadays in this here Blessed Isle of ours almost daily occurrences of rape, and also relatively less frequent instances of crimes like incest and public parading of forcibly stripped innocent naked women have become part and parcel of our nouveau culture. It is common knowledge that in some of these cases our guardians of the law either turn a blind eye or connive with the culprits or both. May be for genuine reasons like the national interest for example, but which are known only by them,
So, here is a divine opportunity for our gendarmerie to prove their mettle, and for a worthy cause, to boot. If by some chance those lesbians manage to get the necessary approval to hold their convocation, I request the Police authorities to round up a sizeable collection of convicted rapists and let them loose among the jubilant but jaded Jezebels when their assembly is in full swing, so that those wanton and misguided women may get a taste of the zest and relish of the REAL thing.
